Why "The Habiru Voice"?

One might wonder why "THE HABIRU VOICE" was chosen for this blog. Simply put as I was reading a book on understand the Old Testament and I ran across this term. The author describes it as a term used to define those in the near east who were not a part of the established nation among whom they lived. He described them as "wanders" and "outsiders" of the social order. While I am a member of this nation, this social order, (at least I think I am although some may disagree) I sometimes feel as though I'm not. I some times have the feeling that I am on the outside of the social order looking in. There are those whom we place on the outside of social order, the "homeless" "the extreme right" " the extreme left". depending on you view and many others that one could name but we all are aware of. Any how I found the name tagging at my thoughts and I had wanted to start a blog so I said "Why Not it as good a title as any!
